Default Re: Personality Questions

> Personality Questions
> 1. When are you most alert morning or night?

Night. I get tired between 9 and midnight, but after that I'm awake until 3
or thereabouts.

> 2. What is you favorite thing to eat; vegetables, meat, or equal
> amounts of both?

Considering that I am a vegetarian, vegetables! (BTW, the semicolon in that
question was used incorrectly.)

> 3. Do you prefer to be inside or outside?

It depends on the circumstance. When the weather is pleasant and the house
messy, I have to be outside as much as possible. When the weather is bad, I
prefer to be indoors.

> 4. At what temperature are you most comfortable; when you are hot,
> cold, or warm?

I prefer to be pleasantly warm.

> 5. Do you like to get wet?

No, not really. I don't like taking showers, and while I go swimming with
the family, I could do without it.

> 6. Would you consider yourself as a quiet, calm person or an
> active person?

Both. I can get very animated in the right company, but when I am alone or
trying to get the children in order, I can be very calm and quiet.

> 7. Would you rather be by yourself or with lots of other people?

Once again, it depends on the circumstances. It's hard to answer questions
where the answer has to be "BOTH!" Sometimes I need to get away; other
times I like to be around people. Overall I guess I am more of a loner, but
it's not a simple reply.

> 8. What do you do when you get nervous? Examples: do you hid? Get
> loud? Do something to distract yourself? Change the subject?

In social situations, I laugh a lot. If I am nervous alone, such as when
driving in bad weather, I don't really do anything.

> 9. What do you do when you get angry? Example: shout, hit, stomp,
> go off by yourself

I tend to shout, and move more quickly.

> 10. What do you do when you are happy? Example: bounce, smile, giggle

Smile and laugh, I guess.

> 11. What do you do when you are sad? Examples: cry, go off by
> yourself, play sports

I tend to get busy with something else to take my mind off of it. Taking
care of kids is a good way to buffer sadness.

> Do you have any interesting habits? If so please list them (Examples
> might be suck on a finger, twirl hair, roll tongue, double jointed)

No habits that are particularly interesting. I bite my fingernails, and
probably have a few common quirks that I am not aware of, but I can't think
of anything noteworthy.

I copied/pasted the questions directly from the site, Suzanne. Had I
typed it I would have gone with a colon after eat: and no comma after
meat. Would that be correct?

_____________

Yes. Personally, I don't like it when people merely copy and paste without
regard to the content of what they are copying. It seems so lazy. Why not
correct the spelling and punctuation if you can? Why perpetuate ignorance
when it just takes a couple of minutes to change the content?

Why be a little *****y when you can be a full scale, all the way tilt,
hard core *****? Geez Suzy, go take a chill pill. Your negativity
SUCKS.

I don't know, Tina; why don't you enlighten us?

It's a perfectly valid complaint. Creative people don't like intellectual
laziness, and intelligent people don't like bad punctuation.

>Your negativity SUCKS.

Irony at its finest.

I havent a clue why you behave as you do.

So why do you take issue?

Irony is that you dont see how you bring negativity with you. This
group has been a lot of fun while you've been gone and you come back
and try to suck all the fun out of it.

(sigh again) You don't get that the phrase "Your negativity SUCKS" is
rather negative?

Yes, we are aware of your behavior since you've rejoined the group.

It's truthful, look into it some time.
