Assuming most of you have come out from underneath all your goodies
this year, do you have a "most favorite" gift you received this year?
To start - mine was easily the 8x10 photo my mother printed and
framed, taken up in Maine at the end of the first show I saw of my
son's chorus concert. He stands there all handsome in his tuxedo and I
lean into him, the proud mom I am. Yep, a real keeper, that
picture. :-)
How about you?

Presents bought by others or by ourselves?
My darling 4 y/o niece painted a picture that says I heart Tina. Yes,
it will be framed.
What I bought for myself, $86 worth of Bath And Body Works, MY
favorite store. For you ladies who dont know, they started their semi-
annual clearance sale. I LOVE that sale!

Yeah, I can fully understand that one, Moni.
The frame made by your other daughter sounds beautiful too. I love
picture gifts, both giving and receiving. When I opened the framed
picture from my mother (who wrote on the package, "Open Last" as she
knew it would be my favorite) I actually sat hugging the darn thing.
Gee, love my son much? :-)

My favorite gift this year is the GPS system I bought for my daughter.

One of those that you can secretly track her with as well? :-)

I hope we can all be good neighbors online!

Isn't it sad when your favorite gift is someone's homemade toffee (which is
really good, actually, but not something you would think of as the best gift
you got). My MIL asked what we wanted this year. I said my favorite stores
were Radio Shack, Lowe's, Barnes & Noble, Star Nursery, and Karaoke.com. I
got gift cards to Olive Garden and Wal-Mart. What's the point of asking?

Sure it does, a check requires effort to get it cashed, as opposed to
giving cash itself, which requires no effort.
